The City of Cleveland is planning to repave State Road in 2026, and we need your help to make it safer and more bike and pedestrian-friendly. Join Old Brooklyn Better Streets on Sunday, July 14th from 10am-12pm for a Walk Audit to evaluate the current walking environment and identify key issues that affect the safety and comfort of all road users.

During this 2-hour walk audit, we will split into groups and you’ll be part of a team assessing approximately 1/2 mile of State Road. We’ll provide all necessary audit tools, clipboards, and safety vests. All you need to bring are your walking shoes, water, and ideas for improving State Road.
This is a unique opportunity to directly influence the design and safety of one of Cleveland’s key thoroughfares. Your insights will play a crucial role in shaping a safer, more accessible State Road for everyone.
