This summer discover a true Old Brooklyn gem—a serene, welcoming community space—while enjoying an array of local musicians. It’s a wonderful way to spend a summer evening and it’s free!
One-hour performances are at 6 p.m. on the first and third Saturdays, June – September. Bring a lawn chair & join us! In the event of rain, shows will be performed on Sunday at 2 p.m.
June 1: Luca Mundaca – Brazilian singer-composer
June 15: Opus 216 – string quartet
July 6: Mo’ Mojo – Zydeco, Cajun, Louisiana-spiced rock
July 20: Sam Hooper Group – blend of blues, rock, jazz and funk
Aug 3: Tim McDonald Quartet – Sax & jazz composer, mixes originals & music from all decades
Aug 17: Bent String quartet – American roots, jazz, blues, feat. vocals of Kari Ann Rutushin
Sep 7: John Orsini Quartet – featuring Evelyn Wright Jazz vocalist, music from the Great American Songbook
Sept 21: Sororii – Afro-Colombian cellist Carolina Borja &

The largest community garden in the county, Ben Franklin is home to over 200 gardeners, Benjamin Franklin Elementary School youth
gardeners, and the OSU Extension’s Master Gardener program.
The Garden Operating Committee, comprised of all volunteers,
has created a space on our 5-acre site where you can relax amongst the trees with friends, old and new, as local musicians entertain you.
