In this workshop, Old Brooklyn CDC is teaming up with Holden Forests & Gardens to teach you how to properly plan out the trees in your yard. As you begin to plant trees in your space, it is essential to know best practices when choosing a spot for your tree. (avoiding utility lines, knowing how big the tree will be, understanding where it will provide shade, etc). There will also be a hands on activity that will illustrate this concept!
