OBCDC seeks to support residents with external home repairs thought our Home Repair Assistance Program. This program is generally curb-appeal type repairs for residents who qualify. This program helps homeowners continue to feel pride in their home and feel part of the community.

Application can take from three (3) to fifteen (15) months to be finalized. If you need emergency assistance, please contact 2-1-1 for an up-to-date list of emergency programs.

  • Our team collaborates with various volunteer groups that have the skills necessary to perform a range of tasks, including front porch replacement and repairs, house painting, gutter repair, front steps replacement, and foundation repair or painting.

  • Residents must meet the following criteria:

    • Must be a homeowner.

    • Must be over 65 years old

    • Low to moderate income

    • Current on their taxes

  • The process can take from one (1) to four (4) months from application/enrollment to approval.
